Heather Nagami is the author of Hostile (Chax Press).  A Kundiman fellow, her poems have recently appeared in The End of the World Project anthology, Berkeley Poetry Review, and Discover Nikkei.

Born and raised in Southern California, Heather is fourth generation Japanese American and the grandniece of poet Akira Togawa.  She received her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from University of Arizona and her B.A. in Literature with a Creative Writing emphasis at University of California, Santa Cruz. Heather is currently searching for a home for her second manuscript while working on her third.
