Heather Nagami is the author of Hostile (Chax Press).  A Kundiman fellow, her poems have appeared in Hawai'i Review, The Collagist, Print-Oriented BastardsXcp: Cross-Cultural Poetics, Spiral Orb, and Antennae.

Born and raised in Southern California, Heather is fourth generation Japanese American and the grandniece of poet Akira Togawa.  She received her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from University of Arizona and her B.A. in Literature with a Creative Writing emphasis at University of California, Santa Cruz.  Heather currently resides in Arizona, where she is completing her second book.
